Somatic and Subconscious Therapy with Aaruka®

You've done the work. Now let's shift what's still underneath.

Aaruka® Therapy works where other approaches have reached their limit, at the level of the body, the subconscious, and the nervous system.

Release the Past,

Reclaim Your Power,

and Step Into

Unshakable Self-Trust

What Aaruka® Therapy Is

Aaruka® is a structured therapy that works by guiding you into a deeply relaxed but conversational state (the theta brainwave) where the subconscious mind becomes accessible. From there, we work through what the body and subconscious are still holding: the beliefs formed before you had words for them, the memories that still carry charge, the patterns that repeat even when you know better.

It’s not about revisiting the past in detail. It’s about finally releasing what’s been stored there.

What an Aaruka® Session Involves

After an initial conversation about what you want to shift, you’ll get comfortable, lying down or reclining, and I’ll guide you into a relaxed theta state where the subconscious is most receptive.

You stay fully aware and we are in conversation throughout. We'll work through the Aaruka® method together: releasing the emotional charge stored in memories, clearing beliefs that no longer serve you, and helping your nervous system find a more settled baseline.

Most people leave feeling noticeably lighter. Some describe it as finally putting down something they’d been carrying for years.

This might be for you if...

You’ve read the books, tried other therapy, maybe you understand your patterns, and something still hasn’t shifted.

What you’re carrying might not look like “trauma.” It might look like:

Waking up already braced for something.

Replaying conversations.

Holding back in ways you can’t quite explain.

A low-level heaviness that doesn’t match your life on paper.

Knowing what you need to do, and still not doing it.

Your nervous system doesn’t distinguish between then and now. It holds what it couldn’t process. Aaruka® Therapy is designed to work at that level.

About This Work

Hi, I’m Lauren, a Registered Counsellor (Master of Counselling) and trained Aaruka® Therapist. I work with this method because of what it reaches, the parts of you that understanding alone hasn't been able to shift.

My work is gentle and paced, with everything led by what you are ready to release. The depth of what’s possible in a single session consistently surprises people who’ve spent years in more conventional approaches.

People often come having tried other therapy. What they tend to notice after Aaruka® is:

✔ A release of long-held trauma and grief

✔ Less anxiety and self-sabotage

✔ A reconnection with themselves and others

✔ A sense of freedom and calm

FAQs

Is this for me?

If you’re experiencing anxiety, repeating patterns, emotional blocks, or a sense of being stuck, Aaruka® Therapy can help.

Am I in control during the session?

Yes. You are fully aware and we will have a conversation throughout the session. You can pause and stop at any point.

Will I have to re-live difficult memories?

Aaruka sessions work by releasing what your body and subconscious are holding onto. We may briefly visit a memory to release its stored charge, but we work carefully, use pacing, grounding and your consent at every step. The focus is on release, not re-living.

How many sessions will I need?

Some people experience significant shifts in a single session. Others benefit from working across a series of sessions. There is no set number, you decide what feels right as you go.

Why online?

Research consistently shows online therapy is as effective as in-person. Most clients also find that being in their own space helps them relax more deeply, which supports the work.

What do I need for a session?

A private, quiet space.

Headphones and Zoom.

Somewhere comfy to lie down, your bed works well.

Water and a pillow.
