I have a Mental Health Care Plan from my GP. Can I get rebates through Medicare?
No. As a registered counsellor, I am unable to accept Mental Health Care Plans, and do not provide Medicare rebates.
I specialise in helping teachers, women and teens to overcome past trauma, burnout, reduce their stress and find ways to better manage their anxiety.
Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a highly effective stress reduction technique. It uses a combination of cognitive therapy, whilst self-tapping on specific points on your body. Often just called ‘Tapping’ it can address a range of issues and has been proven to be highly successful for tackling stress, anxiety, depression, pain and self-confidence.
Aaruka is a therapy designed to overcome past trauma, break through subconscious beliefs about yourself, and set you on the path to a life you want to live. Aaruka means "Finding paradise within". In a session, you are guided into the theta brainwave through hypnosis. In this relaxed state we are able to access your subconscious beliefs. We will have a conversation whilst in this brainwave to help clear the negative patterns and install positive beliefs. This therapy is a deep, transformational process—clearing trauma at the subconscious, nervous system, and energetic levels. It is an incredibly powerful modality that may require less sessions overtime, depending on your situation. These healing sessions are up to 90 minutes duration.

Clinical hypnotherapy can manage stress and anxiety by targeting thought patterns and behaviours that contribute to it. Hypnosis integrates new strategies and positive messages into the unconscious mind, making them more accessible when needed. Clients often report feeling more relaxed and in control after sessions.
You can expect a safe and supportive environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we'll work collaboratively to identify goals and develop strategies to help you overcome challenges and achieve emotional wellbeing.
Generally, between 3 to 8 sessions is the average number required for lasting change, however this is entirely dependent on the individual circumstances of the client. You may require less, or more.
