Our counselling sessions together will consist of solution-focused talk therapy, with EFT Tapping and somatic movement therapy, to help process through your thoughts, feelings and emotions.

CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY


Clinical hypnotherapy involves guiding you into a deeply relaxed state, where your subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions and therapeutic interventions.

Strategic psychotherapy, is a goal-oriented and solution-focused approach used to create effective strategies for overcoming specific issues and achieving desired outcomes.

When combined, these approaches work to tap into the subconscious mind's potential for change while providing structured techniques for addressing specific concerns. It can help you overcome fears, manage stress, improve self-confidence, and make positive changes in various areas of your life.

EFT TAPPING

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) tapping, is a powerful therapeutic approach that combines focused tapping on certain acupressure points whilst acknowledging specific emotions or issues. Tapping on these points aims to reduce emotional distress, alleviate physical discomfort, and promote a sense of emotional wellbeing.

Extensive research has highlighted the effectiveness of EFT tapping in addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, and trauma, by helping to recalibrate the body's energy system and promote emotional balance.

It is one of my favourite modalities as it gets lasting results fast.

SOMATIC MOVEMENT THERAPY

Somatic therapy exercises can help you quickly gain balance within your nervous system. In just a few minutes each day, these body movements have the ability to reverse sensations of stress, anxiety, & overwhelm, regain your motivation and restore a sense of control.

If you are interested in learning how to use somatic therapy, I will teach you a series of mindful movements and targeted breathing techniques, which will equip you with invaluable skills to navigate life's challenges with resilience and ease.

BOWEN THERAPY

Bowen Therapy is a gentle manual technique that focuses on precise movements over muscles, nerves, tendons, and fascia. By activating the parasympathetic nervous system and facilitating the body's "rest and digest" response, Bowen Therapy can contribute to reducing anxiety and promoting relaxation.

The holistic approach of this therapy aligns with the goal of achieving an overall sense of calm, which can assist in managing anxiety-related symptoms and enhancing wellbeing.

At Thrive Wellbeing, I use Bowen Therapy specifically for anxiety.

AARUKA HEALING

An Aaruka session combines energy work, subconscious reprogramming, emotional release, trauma & memory processing and inner child healing. We will work on helping you to shift stuck energy and emotions, identify and release subconscious beliefs that are holding you back, let go of emotions that are weighing you down, process and heal past wounds, nurture and integrate younger parts of yourself for deep emotional healing, to align with your soul’s purpose and discover what you truly desire. You will be guided through a process of forgiveness, release, and letting go, so you can step into a more empowered version of yourself and find freedom from the past.
