Hello, I’m Lauren!

I am a Registered Counsellor, with a Masters degree in Counselling and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy.

I offer counselling that works with the subconscious. This goes beyond regular talk therapy with effective tools like EFT tapping, Clinical Hypnosis, and Aaruka Trauma Healing, I help you release stress, shift deep emotional patterns, and reconnect with your life.

I am registered with the Australian Counselling Association and am a Founding Member of the International Strategic Psychotherapists Association.

With expert training in stress reduction, I have helped many people like you reduce overwhelm, get unstuck, and regain control of their lives.

What can I expect during a session?

You can expect a safe and supportive environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we'll work collaboratively to identify goals and develop strategies to help you overcome challenges and achieve emotional wellbeing.

How does hypnotherapy help anxiety?

Hypnotherapy can manage anxiety by targeting thought patterns and behaviours that contribute to it. Hypnosis integrates new strategies and positive messages into the unconscious mind, making them more accessible when needed.

Clients often report feeling more relaxed and in control after sessions.

How many sessions will I need?

Generally, between 3 to 10 sessions is the average number required for lasting change, however this is entirely dependent on the individual circumstances of the client. You may require less, or more.

What other modalities might we use in session?

I am trained in using EFT tapping, somatic movement, coaching and counselling. Depending on your situation and preferences, we may use a combination of these to get you the best outcome.

In-person or online?

You can book an in-person session with me if the location of Braeside is convenient for you. However, evidence has shown that online therapy is equally as effective as in-person. If you prefer an online session, this will be done over Zoom. You can choose the location when you make a booking. You will just need to make sure you have a quiet and private space for the duration of the session time.

What makes my approach unique or different to other therapists or therapies?

My approach is grounded in a holistic understanding of mental health and wellbeing. I believe in addressing the root causes of issues while also empowering clients with practical tools and insights for sustainable change.

Can I get Medicare rebates via a Mental Health Care Plan?

As a registered counsellor, I do not offer rebates through Medicare or Mental Health Care Plans. If you wish to use these services, please contact your GP for a psychologist referral.
