Hello, I’m Lauren, and I know how deeply trauma can shape our lives.
Through my work as a Registered Counsellor (Master of Counselling) and my training as a practitioner in Aaruka Healing, I’ve seen first-hand how true healing happens, not by "coping," but by clearing trauma at the root.

I offer a holistic approach to healing and have extensive training in the Mental Health field.
I am a Registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association and hold a Master of Counselling degree. In addition to the Aaruka Healing technique, I hold a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy, am certified as an Advanced Practitioner of Clinical EFT Tapping, and have also been certified in Somatic Movement, Reiki II, and Life Coaching.
Depending on your situation and preferences, we may use a combination of these techniques/modalities in a session, to get you the best outcome.
My approach is grounded in a holistic understanding of mental health and wellbeing. I believe in addressing the root causes of issues while also empowering clients with practical tools and insights for sustainable change.
This depends on what we’re working on. Some core beliefs can be fully cleared in one session, while deeper traumas or multiple layers may require additional sessions. Many clients start with one session and book more as needed based on what comes up.
At the beginning, we will have a chat about what has been happening in your life and discuss where you are looking for changes to be made. I will then ask you to get comfortable either laying down or reclining in a chair where you will be guided into the Theta brainwave state—a deep but relaxed state where the subconscious mind is most open to healing.
You’ll be guided through hypnosis-based techniques to access and shift deep-rooted beliefs, emotions, and stored trauma. In this Theta state we will have a discussion to help you move through the process.
Whilst being deeply relaxed, you are also fully aware throughout the process, and in a safe, supportive space.
Yes! While we work in a Theta brainwave state, this is not passive hypnosis—you will be fully aware, speaking out loud, and actively engaged in the session. We will explore and process your memories and beliefs together, with you answering questions and guiding the direction of your healing.
You are always in control and can open your eyes or pause the session at any time if needed.
Yes, you will be fully aware and remember the session. The work happens in a deeply relaxed state, but you remain conscious, engaged, and in control the entire time. What will have changed is your emotional and physical connection to the core problem: You will notice in the coming days that this will begin to clear.
Clinical evidence through research has shown that online therapy is equally as effective as in-person. In fact, when you are working through trauma you may find that being in the safety of your home is the best place to be. You will just need to make sure you have a quiet and private space for the duration of the session time.
Essential items are: headphones, a blanket, somewhere you can lie down or recline, a glass of water and anything else you may need for your comfort.
It is best to have a laptop for the session (but a phone is ok too), with Zoom downloaded and up-to-date. In addition, you will need a quiet and private space that will be uninterrupted. During the session, I will ask that your device camera is facing towards you, so a place to rest the laptop is also needed.
